Medium Voltage - Critical Facility Electrician (Stationary)

- Large Campus in Pasadena, CA – Mission Critical Facility
- 3 million sqaure feet and 200+ buildings
- Stationary – Lead Maintenance Electrician (either currently in or will need to join Local 501 Union)
- (Power Management/Distribution)
- PLUS – prior experience supervising electrical staff
- PLUS – experience with Medium Voltage: 1,000 volts to 15,000 volts (M&O Certificate is a big plus!)
- PLUS – Critical Facility or Data Center experience
- PLUS – Journeyman License (whether through California C-10 or through a Union)
- REQUIRED – Experience that would match a Journeyman-level
- Experienced with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or 3-Phase Power Circuits
- Supervise electrical technicians and provide guidance
- Maintenance of primary and secondary electrical distributions around 15,000 volts
- Review and approve switching Methods of Procedures
- Preventative & Predictive maintenance on critical systems in regards to power management/distribution, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), etc
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs (variable frequency drives) and control circuitry
- Install conduit, electrical fixtures, wiring, etc
- Responsible for reporting failures/problems
- Local Union - Hourly Rate + Overtime
