Position Details:

  • Title: Controls Technician
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Work Type: HVAC Controls Service, BAS Maintenance, Design-Build / New Construction
  • Travel: Local – throughout the Indianapolis metro

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $48.00/hr (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Troubleshoot HVAC control systems and perform point-to-point verification
  • Write custom BAS programs and modify existing sequences or library code
  • Collaborate with mechanical and controls installation teams during startup and commissioning
  • Pull wire, bend conduit, and support field installation when required
  • Communicate effectively with building owners, end users, and construction partners
  • Work efficiently both independently and within a project team

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Controls Technician or BAS/HVAC Controls Specialist
  • Strong troubleshooting experience with Building Automation Systems
  • Hands-on Tridium experience required; Tridium N4 Certification is a plus
  • Solid understanding of control sequences, commissioning protocols, and system architecture
