A leading enterprise-level building automation integrator is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Design Engineer for its Atlanta operation. This organization is known for delivering high-performance automation solutions for commercial buildings, mission-critical facilities, and large data centers, while offering excellent training and long-term advancement pathways.
Position Details:
- Title: BAS Controls Design Engineer
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Salary: $85,000–$115,000 + 10% Bonus
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience producing controls designs using AutoCAD or MS Visio
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop DDC network architecture, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts
- Create, redline, and update floor plans, system drawings, and schematics
- Write and refine sequences of operation (SOPs) for BAS projects
- Review submittals, prepare RFIs, and support project documentation workflows
- Design, layout, and validate controls graphics and associated content
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers
- Support system integration using BACnet, Modbus, and related communication protocols
