This position involves installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting BAS systems, with a strong focus on Tridium Niagara.   • Preferred Skills: Tridium Niagara (Distech, JCI, or Siemens also considered with some Niagara background)

Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and diagnose BAS systems and related hardware.
  • Program BAS databases from the ground up, including rewriting sequences when needed.
  • Execute commissioning tasks such as point-to-point testing and functional verification.
  • Collaborate with installation teams on equipment startup and control terminations.
  • Optimize existing BAS programs and enhance system performance.
  • Apply working knowledge of HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, RTUs, AHUs, and VAVs.
  • Work with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON.
  • Interpret control wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical circuitry.
  • Prepare accurate commissioning reports and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with end users, building owners, and general contractors.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing, commissioning, and servicing BAS systems.
  • Hands-on Tridium Niagara experience required.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and BAS integration principles.
  • Proficient in programming, database development, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with industry-standard communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer service skills.
