A well-respected building automation contractor is seeking two Controls Technicians to support expanding workloads across the Chicagoland area. This full-time salaried position offers exceptional benefits, a company-provided vehicle, and opportunities for overtime on specialty projects. Position Details:

  • Title: Controls Technician

  • Status: Full-Time | Field-Based

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background as a BAS Controls Technician or similar field-based role
  • Strong abilities in diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining BAS systems
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and point-to-point field verification
  • Experience with equipment startup, termination, and control wiring
  • Comfortable modifying BAS programs or adjusting sequences of operation
  • Effective communicator with building owners, operators, and facility staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot building automation systems
  • Support system startups and assist with control device integration
  • Identify and resolve issues in existing BAS programming
  • Work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure quality execution
  • Verify installations against design documents, submittals, and engineering standards
  • Deliver professional on-site communication and customer support

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $65,000–$95,000 (DOE)
