BAS - Controls Design Engineer

This is for a stable, reputable, and large HVAC Mechanical company that has a leading Building Automation division with multiple BAS product-lines.
They would like to hire someone that has drive to become and meshes with the company’s culture and team.
POSITION:
This is for a stable, reputable, and large HVAC Mechanical company that has a leading Building Automation division with multiple BAS product-lines.
They would like to hire someone that has drive to become and meshes with the company’s culture and team.
POSITION:
- 100% REMOTE Controls Design Engineer (Visio or AutoCAD)
- Develop network architecture, wiring schematics, and control panel layout for various Building Automation DDC systems.
- Currently drawings are done in AutoCAD but the department is moving toward MS Visio (looking at individuals with either or)
- Develop “distributed network architecture”
- Coordinate with Project Managers, equipment distributors, and sub-contractors
- Develop project submittal documents
- Review / Track Submittals
- Generate RFIs (Request for Information)
- Controls layout
- Develop control system floor plan graphics
- Redlining
- Plus—ability to write sequences or Sequence of Operations
- Plus—Education: Bachelors of Science degree among mechanical, computer, or electrical engineering
- Design-Build and Service Company
- Established 40+ years ago
- Heavy Customization on almost every project
- Quality Control is one of their main selling points; they do everything in-house
- Huge focus on Data Security and traditional I.T. Environments
- Create Network first and then proceed with a project
- Experienced technology team and incorporates Data Science and A.I.
