BAS Controls Technician to support projects throughout the Columbia, SC region.
This role focuses on installing, servicing, and commissioning DDC control systems for commercial buildings,
hospital campuses, universities, and industrial facilities across the Midlands.

- Hourly Range: $34.00 – $48.00/hr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission DDC/BAS control systems for HVAC applications
- Troubleshoot HVAC controls, communication networks, and field device issues
- Perform functional testing, point checkouts, and system validation
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and VAV/terminal equipment
- Modify and update control logic, schedules, graphics, and alarms
- Assist with retrofits, energy upgrades, new construction start-ups, and system integrations
- Communicate with clients, mechanical contractors, and internal project teams
- Maintain accurate records, service logs, and commissioning documentation
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience with BAS, DDC, or HVAC control systems
- Hands-on knowledge of Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar platforms
- Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks networking
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, control prints, and engineered drawings
- Strong diagnostic and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
