A leading Building Automation and HVAC Controls provider is seeking an experienced
BAS Controls Technician to support commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities
throughout the Jacksonville region. This role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, programming, and
commissioning modern DDC control systems that support efficient building operations.

- Pay Range: $40.00 – $55.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
This role plays a hands-on part in deploying and maintaining DDC/BAS systems across a wide variety
of commercial HVAC applications. You’ll perform commissioning, system integration, and field diagnostics
for equipment such as VAVs, AHUs, chillers, heat pumps, and energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate BAS/DDC wiring, sensors, and field devices
- Perform point-to-point checkout, equipment testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot control logic, network communication, and HVAC equipment interfaces
- Load and adjust control programs using Tridium or manufacturer-specific tools
- Create system graphics, trends, and alarms as needed
- Document commissioning results and update system drawings and device lists
- Coordinate with mechanical contractors, electricians, and building engineers
- Provide customer-facing support and technical guidance
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience with BAS/DDC controls
- Strong capability in HVAC controls troubleshooting and system diagnostics
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Honeywell, Distech, or JCI
- Understanding of HVAC sequences of operation and control strategies
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and control prints
- Professional communication skills and customer relationship abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
