This field-based position focuses on troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintaining building automation systems across commercial, educational, and institutional facilities. - Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | On-Call Rotation (~Every 6 Weeks)
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working as a Controls Technician or in a BAS service capacity
- Strong troubleshooting background with HVAC controls and automation systems
- Knowledgeable in point-to-point checkout and commissioning processes
- Able to install, test, and verify new control system components
- Comfortable working with existing BAS logic and making adjustments as needed
- Clear communicator with building owners, contractors, and end users
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with project teams
- Experience with Tridium or Automated Logic (ALC) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems (BAS)
- Install, configure, and commission controls equipment and software
- Perform point-to-point system verification and functional testing
- Support equipment start-up and ensure programming follows design intent
- Diagnose, modify, and repair existing BAS programs and components
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $25.00–$40.00/hr. (DOE)
- Overtime: Available
- On-Call: Every 6 Weeks
