Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot BAS systems and associated equipment.
  • Develop BAS databases from scratch and rewrite sequences as needed.
  • Conduct commissioning procedures including point-to-point checkout and system verification.
  • Support startup, programming, and field termination of controls hardware.
  • Optimize existing BAS programs and enhance system performance.
  • Apply HVAC knowledge involving boilers, chillers, RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, and related equipment.
  • Work with industry-standard communication protocols including BACnet, Modbus, and LON.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and control circuitry.
  • Prepare accurate commissioning documentation and test reports.
  • Communicate effectively with building owners, end users, and general contractors.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years of BAS installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Tridium Niagara experience required.
  • Strong foundation in HVAC systems and BAS integration.
  • Skilled in programming databases, rewriting logic, and resolving field issues.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other communication protocols.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and customer service capability.
