About the Opportunity:
A well-established and rapidly growing building automation firm is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Engineer to support projects across the Indianapolis metro area. This position offers a collaborative engineering environment, hands-on work across commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities, and an outstanding benefits package—including company-paid medical coverage. Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a BAS Controls Engineer or in a related engineering role
- Proficient in system layout and automation design using MS Visio
- Strong familiarity with Tridium Niagara platforms (highly preferred)
- Comfortable conducting job walks, site assessments, and customer meetings
- Skilled in developing detailed automation drawings and engineering documentation
- Deep understanding of creating and interpreting Sequences of Operation
- Collaborative, detail-focused, and eager to work across multiple BAS technologies
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage BAS system architecture for assigned projects
- Prepare detailed submittals, drawings, and technical documentation
- Develop and update Sequences of Operation across a variety of building types
- Coordinate project execution with field teams, installers, and project managers
- Conduct onsite job walks and support client-facing technical discussions
- Assist with BAS integration involving Reliable, Delta, Lynxspring, and Niagara-based systems
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000–$105,000 (DOE)
