- Controls Design Engineer / Hardware Engineer
- Pittsburgh, PA (South Pittsburgh)
- Building Systems Technology Company (primarily Building Automation but also offer Lighting and Fire Detection services)
- Clientele: Class A Commercial Building, Healthcare, K-12 Schools, Universities, Laboratories, etc.
- Operates in 2 States / Metro-Markets
- Reps multiple BAS Controls product-lines with one being an Open-IP for Tridium Niagara integration
- Controls Engineering Team consists of the Engineering Manager and 2 Controls Design Engineers
- Expanding the Controls Engineering Team due to Increase Market Share
- 90% in the office on design; 10% site-walks/job walks at client sites
- Create / design applications with MS Visio (for 95% of their projects)
- Automation Engineering (BAS Controls, Lighting, and Fire Detection)
- Put together Submittals
- Create Wire Diagrams
- Ability to redline and produce drawings
- Calculation for Valve Sizing, Damper Actuator Sizing, Converting BTUs, etc.
