A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Sales professional in Salt Lake City, UT. This position centers on business development, solution design, and managing the complete sales cycle for BAS and mission-critical projects. Position Details:

  • Compensation: $125K–$375K OTE (Base + Commission)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop BAS and energy-focused solutions for new and existing clients across multiple markets.
  • Perform site surveys, audits, and evaluate facility performance to identify opportunities.
  • Build solution scopes that support ROI, operational efficiency, and client performance targets.
  • Deliver compelling proposals and present strategies to client leadership and decision-makers.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Maintain and grow a strong sales pipeline to achieve annual revenue goals.
  • Partner with internal engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Foster long-term relationships with customers, end users, and key industry stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in BAS, HVAC, or energy solutions sales with a proven track record of results.
  • Solid knowledge of building automation systems, controls, and system integration.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience selling into data centers or mission-critical environments is advantageous.
  • Driven, goal-oriented, and highly motivated to expand market presence.
