We’re looking for a talented Application Engineer to join a respected Building Automation and HVAC controls provider supporting mission-critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, and institutional campuses. This role is ideal for a technically driven controls professional who enjoys a blend of programming, design, and client interaction.

Based in Charlotte, NC, you will support regional projects and work closely with internal teams, contractors, and end users. If you thrive in BAS programming, system architecture, and energy-focused automation solutions, this position offers long-term stability and meaningful project impact.

  • Specialization in service, retrofit, and select installation projects

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years programming and developing BAS applications
  • Niagara N4 Certification is required
  • Hands-on field commissioning experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with JCI Facility Explorer, Tridium, and/or Metasys
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support technical project execution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop BAS system architecture, control strategies, and sequences of operation
  • Program, revise, and deploy BAS applications including Tridium graphical interfaces
  • Perform job walks, scope reviews, and client coordination meetings
  • Create detailed submittals, drawings, and project documentation
  • Support installation teams and execute point-to-point commissioning
  • Troubleshoot system issues both remotely and on-site
  • Collaborate with owners, contractors, and internal engineering teams
