Position Details
- Title: Controls Installer / Electrician
- Location: Tampa, FL
- Hiring: Entry-Level, Mid-Level, and Senior Installers
- Pay: $20.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
- Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role/region dependent)
Key Responsibilities
- Install, mount, label, and wire BAS control panels, controllers, relays, sensors, and field devices
- Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling for control systems
- Support technicians and programmers during system startup and commissioning
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and jobsite documentation
- Work safely and adhere to local electrical codes, OSHA standards, and company practices
- Document installation tasks, update redlines, and assist with as-built documentation
Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a Controls Installer, Low-Voltage Electrician, or related trade position
- Hands-on skills in conduit, device mounting, terminations, and labeling
- Familiarity with BAS components such as control panels, actuators, and sensors
- Competency using electrical meters, toners, and basic hand tools
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout Florida
