Position Details

  • Title: Controls Installer / Electrician
  • Location: Tampa, FL
  • Hiring: Entry-Level, Mid-Level, and Senior Installers
  • Pay: $20.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
  • Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role/region dependent)

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, mount, label, and wire BAS control panels, controllers, relays, sensors, and field devices
  • Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling for control systems
  • Support technicians and programmers during system startup and commissioning
  • Interpret and follow electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and jobsite documentation
  • Work safely and adhere to local electrical codes, OSHA standards, and company practices
  • Document installation tasks, update redlines, and assist with as-built documentation

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience as a Controls Installer, Low-Voltage Electrician, or related trade position
  • Hands-on skills in conduit, device mounting, terminations, and labeling
  • Familiarity with BAS components such as control panels, actuators, and sensors
  • Competency using electrical meters, toners, and basic hand tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout Florida
