BAS - Sales Associate / Bid Coordinator

POSITION:
POSITION:
- Automation Sales Associate (Controls Sales Engineer/Inside Sales)
- 50-60% - Bid Coordinating
- Collect various bids through the bid-intake email portal
- Review plans/blueprints & layouts and identify BAS controls opportunities
- Qualify bids/leads and deliver the bids to the project development and estimating team
- Log data and activities ; track bid progress
- 25% - Project Visits for Automation QC (Quality Control)
- Perform job-walks at client-sites where work has already been completed post 30 days
- Review graphics and programming of finished systems
- Customer-facing / interact with customers and survey their thoughts on the completed project
- 10-15% - Preventative Maintenance Renewal Follow-Up
- Reach out to controls customers who have are close to their renewal of their controls maintenance service agreement
- Evaluate their renewal and survey thoughts of the service
- Assist/Support an Outside Sales Engineer / Account Manager for project work withing Orange County, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire
- Review / Track Submittals
- Generate RFIs (Request for Information)
- Communicate with Customers
- Previous experience as either a Controls Technician or a Project Engineer who is interested in moving into Sales
