BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager – Greater Memphis Area – $40–$50/hr + Full Benefits

About the Opportunity:

A reputable and established building automation contractor is seeking a skilled BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of HVAC and lighting control systems. This position is based in the Greater Memphis metro area and covers projects throughout the Mid-South. Candidates should bring hands-on experience with DDC systems and BAS platforms including Tridium and Siemens.

Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Siemens Talon, Apogee, PPCL, and ABT software
  • Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, MSTP, BACnet, Modbus, and LON preferred
  • Hands-on background with HVAC and lighting control systems
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Word/Excel, and multiple operating systems
  • Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate installation timelines, commissioning activities, and project milestones with internal teams and subcontractors
  • Track project costs and forecast labor and material needs to maintain budget targets
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and schedule adherence
  • Identify field modifications and assist with pricing change orders and additional work requests
  • Program control logic, download software to controllers, develop graphics, and maintain BAS databases
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair DDC system issues to ensure peak system performance
  • Perform adjustments, calibrations, and testing of BAS hardware and software
  • Provide end-user training and ensure all project documentation and closeout materials are completed on time
  • Support both project and service teams with technical solutions and programming expertise
  • Maintain strict safety standards and uphold professional conduct on job sites and within customer facilities
