Position Details:

  • Title: Controls Service Technician
  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Hourly Rate: $36.00 – $45.00/hr (DOE)
  • Overtime: Available
  • Schedule: Standard hours with participation in an on-call rotation
  • Vehicle: Company vehicle provided, including gas card and maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and commission BAS systems for a variety of clients
  • Diagnose issues in existing pneumatic or electronic control systems
  • Modify and refine sequences to improve system performance and energy savings
  • Perform functional testing and complete point-to-point verification
  • Troubleshoot communication networks including BACnet, Modbus, and LON
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, technicians, and other trades on active projects
  • Maintain accurate service logs, testing results, and commissioning documentation
  • Provide customer support and system operation guidance when needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a BAS or Controls Service Technician
  • Strong familiarity with Tridium and Niagara N4 (certification a plus)
  • Experience with platforms such as Tridium, JCI, Distech, and Honeywell
  • Understanding of control circuits, I/O fundamentals, and field device operation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
  • Clear communication and strong customer interaction skills
