Controls Foreman – Nationwide Travel – $33.00–$35.00/hr + Benefits
About the Opportunity:
A nationally recognized MEP and design-build contractor is seeking an experienced
Controls Foreman to support their expanding field operations. This role offers the chance
to travel across the United States on a rotation schedule while overseeing controls installation
projects from start to finish. The organization is known for delivering high-quality mechanical,

Position Details:
- Title: Controls Foreman
- Location: Nationwide (Travel required)
- Pay: $33.00–$35.00/hr (Negotiable based on experience)
- Overtime: Available depending on project needs
- Bonus: Discretionary/performance bonus after one year
- Schedule: 17 Days On / 4 Days Off rotation
- Per Diem: $35 per night (including off days, weekends, and holidays)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise controls system installations for both new construction and retrofit projects.
- Manage and guide controls technicians and field staff during installation work.
- Interpret, read, and execute control drawings, schematics, and engineered plans.
- Mount and wire control panels, bend and install conduit, pull wire, and perform electrical terminations.
- Install relays, sensors, switches, and other control devices with precision.
- Coordinate activities with project superintendents; participate in site meetings and document reviews.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience installing, wiring, and commissioning BAS, PLC, or HVAC control systems.
- 3+ years of proven field leadership experience overseeing controls installation teams.
- Strong ability to lead crews and manage work in fast-paced field environments.
- Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and construction-related systems and phases.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
