Controls Systems Engineer (PLC/HMI) - reputable Mechanical & Controls - San Jose, CA

The company has a tenured staff and is growing their Industrial Process Controls team and are seeking individuals who have a passion for process automation and a passion for solving complex problems. This Process team works together and has members who have been in the Industrial Automation industry.

POSITION:

• Automation/Controls Engineer

PROCESS DIVISION:

• Industrial Automation within Bio-Tech, Oil & Gas, Water Processing, Clean Technologies, Semi-Conductor, Chilled Water Plants
• Solutions for Automated Process Equipment and heavy Industrial Processing
• Completely integrated systems with Valves, Pumps, Motors, Heaters, Chilled Systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Office Work (80-90%) and Client-Site Visits for Start-Up (10-20%). Field Work is around San Jose, San Francisco, and sometimes in the Central Valley
• PLC / HMI programming
• Design of PID regulatory controls
• Implementing/Configuring VFD’s (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Troubleshooting low voltage instrumentation and motor control systems
• Field Start-Up/Commissioning and Support Calls to customers
