Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA)

As a Support Mechanical Commissioning Agent, you will serve as a vital third-party authority, systematically verifying the functionality of mechanical systems throughout the commissioning process. This role promises to be both challenging and fulfilling, as you will play an essential part in assuring quality and performance across diverse projects.
Responsibilities: - Review and apply training documentation to daily activities effectively. - Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, Engineers of Record, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. - Learn the commissioning process and implement procedures in the field. - Develop commissioning procedures utilizing established templates. - Assist in the creation of commissioning schedules, understanding testing durations. - Help design load bank plans for testing mechanical systems during integrated testing. - Collaborate in developing the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Verification plan and conduct TAB Verification as directed. - Deploy data loggers to appropriate areas for essential data collection. - Execute functional testing with guidance from team members and maintain a daily onsite testing log. - Perform infrared (IR) scanning and analysis, documenting findings in spreadsheets and illustrating data through marked IR photos. - Assist in the preparation of integrated systems testing (IST) reports, including creating Excel charts of collected data.
Requirements: - Work Experience: No prior experience required; this role is suitable for candidates looking to start their career in commissioning. - Education: A 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience is preferred. - Training: No specific training required prior to employment, but a willingness to learn is essential. - Understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems is a must. - Military experience is a plus, highlighting leadership and organizational skills. - Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. - Math Skills: Ability to perform calculations including percentages and proportions. - Strong communication abilities: Capable of understanding instructions and conveying information clearly. - Exceptional organizational skills, with an aptitude for leadership. - Flexible ability to work from home while traveling to project sites.
