Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and effectively communicate the company's products and services, assisting customers in their selection process.
  • Employ proven sales techniques to convey the company's value propositions to clients.
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals, manage your sales pipeline diligently, and follow up to close sales.
  • Deliver outstanding personal customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Oversee and consolidate CRM data to collaboratively develop account strategies with your team members.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations aimed at achieving mutual goals.
  • Identify and convert sales opportunities into tangible product sales.
  • Qualify accounts to understand opportunities for increasing market share.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns based on account segmentation.
  • Maintain required sales activity levels to meet or exceed revenue and margin quotas.
  • Manage inbound calls from assigned accounts with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Handle objections by clarifying points of agreement and facilitating positive resolutions.
  • Support the execution of sales strategies to achieve all goals associated with assigned accounts by analyzing sales statistics.
  • Present new products and services to enhance existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing to facilitate sales while maximizing profit margins.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and colleagues to fulfill customer needs.
  • Keep detailed records of customer activities and assist in closing deals to meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with other team members to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Continuously expand your product knowledge and stay informed about industry developments through training and self-study.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience or an associate's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and utilize company-specific software.
  • Familiarity with the industrial automation market, including the solutions and services available as well as awareness of competitors.
