Additionally, you will focus on growing and retaining existing accounts by mapping out effective approaches and showcasing innovative solutions to encourage increased business volume.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote a diverse range of industrial automation products and services, articulating value propositions effectively to customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring all inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Utilize company-provided sales tools to develop strategic account plans and maintain accurate customer data within the sales funnel.
  • Listen actively to customers, investigating and resolving their concerns to support shared goals.
  • Conduct proactive sales calls, using probing questions to uncover customer needs, understand competitor actions, and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Achieve and maintain minimum sales activity expectations through consistent engagement with prospects and clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to meet the total spending potential of assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize opportunities while maintaining core sales responsibilities.
  • Organize customer visits in coordination with internal leadership and experts to enhance relationships.
  • Introduce new products and services to existing clients, reinforcing established partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with technical staff to align customer needs with company offerings and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in sales, especially within the industrial automation market.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary software.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation solutions and the competitive landscape.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
