Industrial Automation Account Executive

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to expand our market presence in Central Arkansas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse range of customers and work with premium automation products from world-class manufacturers.

In this crucial position, you will focus on generating new revenue and enhancing existing accounts within the industrial automation sector. You will leverage your sales expertise to develop relationships, understand customer needs, and present tailored solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote and sell a wide range of products and services by effectively communicating our value propositions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Utilize company-provided sales tools to collaboratively develop comprehensive account strategies, while maintaining meticulous records of customer interactions and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct proactive sales calls to identify customer needs and uncover new business opportunities through effective questioning and communication.
  • Meet and exceed all sales activity and revenue targets, ensuring consistent follow-up on quotes, opportunities, and project leads.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize the spending potential of assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including leadership, technical experts, and marketing, to leverage resources for increasing sales effectiveness.
  • Organize and conduct customer visits, presenting new product offerings and fostering existing relationships.
  • Maintain an up-to-date account management plan for all assigned clients, ensuring a proactive approach to customer engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales, preferably within the industrial automation sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to learning new software tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial automation market, including an understanding of the array of solutions available and competitive landscapes.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, as travel within the assigned territory is required.
