In this position, you will serve as a crucial resource, providing exceptional support and guidance to both internal teams and external clients. You will be the go-to expert in process control instrumentation, valves, and hygienic equipment, addressing product inquiries and application needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a comprehensive range of products and services to clients, delivering detailed explanations of functionalities to help customers select the best solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and outside sales representatives to assess and fulfill their process control and analytical instrumentation requirements.
  • Offer technical expertise throughout sales interactions, ensuring a smooth order process while actively identifying opportunities for increased sales.
  • Prepare and issue detailed quotations and order confirmations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Build and maintain item descriptions in the company's ERP system, navigating manufacturers' price books and literature to ensure correct model numbers, pricing, and lead times.
  • Negotiate pricing effectively to facilitate sales and enhance profit margins as warranted.
  • Assist in project specification, drawing reviews, and complete project take-offs, contributing valuable insights for successful project execution.
  • Provide outstanding personal customer service, striving to create lasting relationships by investigating and resolving issues with tailored solutions.
  • Support overflow sales inquiries, helping to manage customer needs effectively.
  • Guide customers in navigating the company’s website and catalog, ensuring they find the resources they need.
  • Accurately process orders received via electronic purchase order portals, ensuring timely acknowledgment and fulfillment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in technical sales, support, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn and utilize specific company software.
  • Advanced knowledge of the industrial process marketplace, encompassing customers, consultants, contractors, and end users, along with familiarity with industrial applications and products.
