Human Resources Generalist I

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist I in Bartlett, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in a dynamic HR department, supporting a world-class organization that has been a pioneer in the building automation industry since 1983.

As a Human Resources Generalist I, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and technical support to ensure an efficient, accurate, and confidential HR function. You will be instrumental in managing employee and departmental information, as well as promoting various HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll administration, ensuring complete accuracy and timeliness in processing all payroll actions.
  • Support benefits administration by facilitating the accurate and timely processing of benefits elections.
  • Collaborate in the development, coordination, and implementation of training, professional development, and wellness programs.
  • Maintain confidential personnel records, including filing of physical documents in personnel files.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases, generating reports as necessary to support HR functions.
  • Prepare company-wide correspondence and communications.
  • Coordinate engagement activities, special acknowledgements, and assist in rewards and recognition programs.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources management, talent management, and employment law.
  • Manage project administration for special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Paycor.
