As an Account Executive, you will manage the complete sales solution lifecycle, acting as the essential link between potential customers and our innovative services. Your efforts will directly contribute to the continued success and expansion of our offerings in process and combustion applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target potential customers by analyzing past territory performances and maintaining awareness of yearly sales quotas.
- Identify and engage new clients through effective cold calling, referrals, trade publications, and attendance at relevant industry trade shows.
- Set strategic appointments with prospective clients within your ideal target sectors.
- Explore additional project opportunities and upsell initiatives within the existing client base.
- Document cost-saving opportunities related to equipment conversions and process efficiency improvements for your clients.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with both customers and manufacturers to enhance business prospects and sales volume.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract pricing, terms, and conditions, working closely with internal accounting and inside sales teams.
- Advocate for clients' needs when negotiating specific agreements.
- Recommend product solutions and identify areas for service improvements and enhancements.
- Expand vendor relationships to penetrate accounts further and boost overall sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a related role within the industrial automation industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with the ability to adapt and learn company-specific software.
- Strong familiarity with the industrial automation market, including general knowledge of competitors and industry dynamics.
- A solid technical background in manufacturing, general maintenance, or instrumentation is highly advantageous.
- Well-organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and clarity.
