  • Preparing comprehensive quotations and order confirmations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all customer communications.
  • Utilizing the company’s ERP system to create item cards, which involves navigating manufacturer price books and ensuring all relevant details are meticulously captured.
  • Negotiating pricing to enhance sales and profit margins, balancing customer satisfaction with business objectives.
  • Assisting in project specification reviews and conducting detailed project take-offs.
  • Providing outstanding personal customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and developing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Supporting overflow sales calls and guiding customers in navigating the company's website and product catalog effectively.
  • Accurately processing orders received via electronic purchase order systems, ensuring timely acknowledgment and follow-up as necessary.

To succeed in this role, ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field, with a strong focus on technical sales support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn and use new company-specific software.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industrial process marketplace, including familiarity with the roles of customers, consultants, contractors, and end users, along with a solid understanding of industrial process applications and products.
