Project Manager (Commissioning & Mission Critical Environments)

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team, where your leadership will play a crucial role in driving project success and maintaining our vibrant company culture. As a Project Manager, you will provide clear direction regarding the scope of work, organize project documentation, and coordinate on-site testing and deliverables, all while ensuring the profitability of each project. This role serves as a pivotal communication bridge between the team, clients, and vendors, embodying the collaborative spirit essential for our success.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive project scope of work and pricing models. - Serve as the primary communication point between clients and project personnel. - Establish manpower requirements to meet project specifications. - Formulate and implement commissioning plans and schedules. - Create timelines for project deliverables, assign tasks, and monitor their completion. - Systematically populate and organize the project folder with all client, EOR, and GC documentation. - Coordinate travel arrangements and communicate various requirements to the project team. - Lead meetings during testing phases and meticulously produce meeting minutes. - Schedule and facilitate punch list meetings while aiding testing engineers in punch list management. - Oversee reporting requirements, ensuring all obligations are met. - Monitor project budgets, ensuring profitability through effective financial management. - Conduct analyses and propose improvements to project processes for greater efficiency. - Develop and actively manage project plans using Smartsheet to enhance processes and margins. - Provide accurate revenue projections and track project statuses through invoicing in the Ajera accounting software.

Qualifications: - Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in commissioning or mission-critical environments. - General understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems. - Bachelor’s degree preferred; military experience is a plus. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Smartsheet and Ajera is advantageous. - Strong budgeting and forecasting capabilities. - Excellent mathematical skills necessary for calculating percentages and proportions. - Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and effectively. - Highly organized, proactive, responsive, and meticulous in task management. - Strong ability to work remotely while traveling to project sites 50-60% of the time.
