Job Title: Support Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and familiarity with commissioning processes to ensure that mechanical systems operate in accordance with design intent and Owner's Project Requirements (OPR). As a third-party authority, you will play a critical role in verifying the functionality of systems through a rigorous set of testing and inspection protocols.

Key Responsibilities: - Review and apply training documentation effectively to your daily tasks. - Communicate professionally and confidently with clients, engineers of record, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. - Acquire in-depth knowledge of the commissioning process to implement effectively in the field. - Develop comprehensive commissioning procedures using provided templates. - Assist project managers in developing commissioning schedules by understanding testing durations. - Create effective load bank plans for thorough mechanical system testing during integrated assessments. - Support the development of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Verification plans and conduct TAB Verification tasks as directed. - Deploy data loggers for accurate data collection in designated areas. - Execute functional testing alongside team members and maintain detailed onsite testing logs. - Perform infrared (IR) scanning and analysis, documenting findings in spreadsheets and marking IR photos of mechanical equipment. - Contribute to the preparation of IST Reports, including the creation of Excel charts to present collected data.

Qualifications: - Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is preferred. - Experience: No prior work experience required; however, a general understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems is essential. - Military experience will be considered a strong plus. - Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. - Math Skills: Ability to compute figures and amounts, including percentages and proportions. - Strong communication skills to follow detailed instructions and convey information effectively.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands: - A dedicated home office setup is necessary for efficient daily operations. - The position requires frequent travel to project sites, approximately 50-75% of the year, with a rotation of three weeks onsite followed by one week of remote work. - If you reside close to a job site, onsite presence will be expected. - Applicants must be prepared for physical demands, including standing for long periods, navigating rugged terrain, and working under various weather conditions. - Physical dexterity to handle tools and test equipment, including the ability to lift items up to 30 pounds, is essential.
