Support Electrical Commissioning Agent (CxA)

This pivotal role involves acting as a third-party authority throughout the commissioning process, including verification, functional performance testing, and hands-on engagement with critical power equipment.

Key Responsibilities: - Review and effectively apply training documentation to daily tasks. - Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. - Familiarize yourself with the commissioning process implementation in the field. - Develop and refine commissioning procedures using existing templates. - Assist in the planning and development of commissioning schedules based on testing durations. - Understand load bank requirements and devise comprehensive plans for projects, including size, quantity, and specialized connection needs. - Under supervision, connect and operate Power Quality Measurement (PQM) test equipment on various data center equipment. - Execute functional testing with the support of team members while maintaining detailed daily onsite testing logs. - Perform infrared (IR) scanning and analysis, documenting data accurately. - Record and manage data for PQM testing, including capturing screenshots from PQM software and assisting in report development.

Qualifications: - Education: A 4-year college degree or equivalent field experience is required. - Work Experience: Entry-level position—previous experience is not required. - Knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems is essential. - Military experience is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong mathematical skills are necessary. - Excellent communication skills to understand and convey information simply and clearly. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands: - A dedicated home office setup conducive to daily responsibilities is required. - Regular travel to project sites (50-75% of the year) will be necessary. - Onsite work is mandated for local candidates, with a travel rotation of 3 weeks onsite followed by 1 week of work from home. - Responsibilities may involve physical activity such as standing for extended periods, navigating rugged terrain, and operating in various weather conditions. - Occasional requirements may include climbing ladders, kneeling, and carrying test equipment weighing between 30-50 pounds.
