Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and analyze crucial documents such as safety protocols, site drawings, specifications, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. - Conduct meticulous inspections, examinations, and tests, ensuring accurate and thorough records of results. - Utilize a variety of tools and equipment essential for effective quality control and assurance processes. - Verify that all measuring and testing equipment is functioning correctly and is in optimal condition. - Develop and produce clear, comprehensive reports and correspondence to communicate findings effectively. - Present information to groups, including partnering organizations and internal teams. - Coordinate daily activities with both internal and external personnel for efficient project execution. - Review and assess QA/QC plans, schedules, and reports, maintaining alignment with project goals. - Update and enhance inspection, examination, and testing procedures as necessary. - Plan and organize various tests and inspections to ensure thorough quality assurance.
Requirements: - Education: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 months of related experience in inspection, examination, or testing activities focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Alternatively, an Associate Degree in a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction and mission-critical environments is preferred. - Visual Acuity: Sufficient vision to meet Snellen fraction threshold of at least 20/30 for both near and far distances; ability to distinguish colors and contrasts necessary for effective testing. - Essential Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in Smartsheet and Ajera being advantageous. - Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations related to percentages and proportions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective instructions and reporting. - Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. - Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50-75% annually, with a travel schedule of three weeks onsite followed by one week working remotely. Local candidates (within approximately 50 miles of job sites including Aiken, SC; Atlanta, GA; Southern MD; New Albany, OH; Richmond, VA; and Boydton, VA) may have additional onsite opportunities.
