Job Title: Support Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA)

Location: Various locations including Fayetteville/Douglasville, GA; Boydton, Ashburn, or Manassas, VA; Jackson, MS; Santa Clara/San Jose, CA.

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Mechanical Commissioning Agent (CxA) to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for candidates who possess a strong technical background and a passion for ensuring mechanical systems are functioning according to specified designs and Owners’ Project Requirements (OPR). As a Support CxA, you will play a critical role in the commissioning process by providing independent verification and testing throughout all levels of commissioning as per ASHRAE Guideline 0.

Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements. - Review and apply training documentation relevant to daily activities and commissioning processes. - Develop and implement commissioning procedures using provided templates. - Assist project managers in the development of commissioning schedules using knowledge of testing durations. - Create load bank plans for integrated mechanical system testing. - Help develop a Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Verification plan and carry out TAB verification as needed. - Deploy data loggers for effective data collection and assist team members in executing functional testing. - Maintain a daily onsite testing log to track progress and results. - Conduct infrared (IR) scanning and analysis, documenting findings and data accurately in spreadsheets. - Contribute to the development of comprehensive IST Reports, including data charts.

Qualifications: - A four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field. - No prior work experience is required; however, experience in mechanical and electrical building systems is a plus. - Familiarity with basic software applications, particularly Microsoft Office. - Strong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate percentages and proportions. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands: - Candidates must have a suitable home office for remote work, with the ability to travel to job sites 50-75% of the time. - The role requires a travel rotation of three weeks onsite followed by one week of work from home. - Frequent physical activity is necessary, including standing for long periods, navigating rugged terrain, and working in varying weather conditions. - Ability to travel may involve lifting and transporting test equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. - Flexibility to climb ladders, kneel, or crouch as required.
