Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Electrical Commissioning Agent (CxA) with a robust technical background and a deep understanding of the commissioning process. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted third-party authority, systematically ensuring that electrical systems are performing according to the design intent and the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR). Your expertise will contribute to all five levels of commissioning as outlined by ASHRAE Guideline 0, with a focus on verification techniques and functional performance testing of critical power equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and effectively apply available training documentation to daily activities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, engineers of record, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Gain proficiency in the Cx process to adeptly implement strategies in the field.
- Develop comprehensive commissioning procedures utilizing established templates.
- Understand load bank requirements and develop plans based on project specifications (size, quantity, special connection).
- Set up and connect Performance Quality Measurement (PQM) test equipment on various data center equipment with guidance.
- Operate PQM test equipment under supervision, executing functional tests alongside team members.
- Maintain a daily onsite testing log and perform infrared scanning/analysis, accurately recording data.
- Support the development of detailed reports capturing test results and system performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: No prior work experience is required; however, a background in a related field is advantageous.
- Education: A four-year college degree or equivalent field experience is preferred.
- Training: No specific training is required, but knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems is essential.
- Skills:
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficient mathematical abilities to calculate figures and proportions.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex instructions clearly to others.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to remote work while traveling to project sites 50-75% of the time.

- Must be capable of engaging in strenuous physical activities such as standing for extended periods, navigating challenging terrains, and handling equipment weighing 30-50 pounds.
