Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the project scope and pricing, facilitating smooth communication with the Project Manager and project personnel.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop Construction (Cx) plans, ensuring they are thoroughly reviewed and approved.
- Create and maintain project schedules, regularly reviewing timelines for deliverables in conjunction with the project team.
- Organize and populate the project folder with all documentation received from clients, Engineers of Record (EOR), and General Contractors (GC).
- Communicate effectively with the project team regarding various requirements and travel arrangements.
- Participate in project meetings, diligently taking meeting minutes and assisting in punch list meetings as needed.
- Aid testing engineers with punch list management, ensuring all necessary follow-ups are completed.
- Review reporting requirements, developing templates that support the project team’s efficiency.
- Monitor project budgets and track profitability to assist with financial oversight.
- Use project management software, such as Smartsheet, to develop project plans for review by the Project Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date project status and prepare invoices utilizing Ajera accounting software.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: 0-5 years in project management or a similar role, preferably with construction experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Industry Knowledge: General understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems is a plus.
- Military experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
- Mathematics: Ability to perform calculations involving percentages and proportions.
- Communication Skills: Capable of understanding complex instructions and conveying information clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Must be proactive, responsive, and precise in execution.
- Flexibility: This role requires an ability to work from home effectively while traveling to project sites 25-50% of the time.
