POSITION:
- Licensed Master’s Electrician (or an Electrician who is able to secure a Master’s Electrician license)
- Largest wire the company pulls is a 12 gauge. Rarely do any EMT over 1’’
- HQ’d in North Virginia (Fairfax, VA)
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Looking at either Mid-Level or Sr. Level candidates
- Ability to be a chameleon – can adjust to changes and various customer types
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Bend Conduit
- Read blueprints/ schematic drawings
- Electrical Installation / Wiring
- Diagnose/troubleshoot multiple systems and test electrical equipment
- Field Experience – project managing his or her own jobs while managing internal resources and subcontractors
- Projects territory can be from South Baltimore, MD to Richmond, VA
- Company Size: about 25 Employees
- Established about 35+ years ago; has been doing experience for about 20 years
- A Building Systems/Technology Project & Service Company
- Works Directly with the Owner and does a lot of Plan & Spec work (they get invited to bid and get spec our projects)
- Services:
- Mix of Retrofit, Services, and Design-Build/New Construction
- Most projects consist of install
- Clientele:
- Working a lot with various School Districts
- 1/3 of Revenue comes from Government Defense Work: Military Bases, U.S. Facilities
- Class-A Commercial Buildings
- Large Residential Complexes
