- Looking to hire 3 or 5 people
- Has hired 2-3 controls people (such as Controls Engineers, Programmers, and Techs) and feel that they would be a good fit for a Commissioning Position

- Commissioning Project Manager

- In San Diego, hiring 1 or 2 positions whether entry-level or PM-level
- In Los Angeles, hiring 1 or 2 positions whether entry-level or PM-level
- In San Francisco, hiring someone who is more of a Project Manager – 5 years in Commissioning and likes the construction side of things.
- Commissioning Tech – 70-85K a year
- CXA/Commissioning Authority/Agent (do PM work without a safety net) – 85-105K
- Sr. CXA (10+ years) – 110-115K
- Project Managers – 90-120K
- Good bonus program – probationary period that applies to bonus – 6-9 months (9months bonuses will come) - Up to 10% of your salary
- Fundamentally work-from-home/Remote but with 25-50% travel
- Definitely a cross office support
- Service LA out of San Diego
- Been in San Francisco – 10-15 years – growing (90% manpower is in San Diego)
- Might be traveling a third or half time when busy (overnight)
- Commissioning almost always has travel
- Tops out at 50% (high side of where it really is)
- 50% (some driving) -2-3 hour drive or will pay your hotel
- (when there is an overnight, 2-4 times a month traveling)
- Rotate people (one group is traveling and then others)
- Pretty rare when 2 weeks on and 2 weeks
- 3 or 4 day week onsite (fly out Sunday night come back Thursday night)
- 2 Teams: SoCal and NorCal Team
- CXA/Commissioning Authority/Agent (REMOTE w/ 25-50% Travel)
- Sr. CXA (REMOTE w/ 25-50% Travel)
- Project Manager (REMOTE w/ 25-50% Travel)
- Commissioning Tech (Maybe more Travel for Tech work)
- CXA - Commissioning Authority/Agent (REMOTE w/ 25-50% Travel)
- Has a SoCal Office and a NorCal Office
- Covers San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco
- “Goal is to get people seated a lot closer to where the action is”
- Starts in the design phase with an owner
- Design-review, provide commission specs
- Goes into construction performing compliance review acting as the Third-Party QC (Quality Control)
- Running validation tests while working with contractors
- Confirm that all work is up-to-code and hand-off work back to the customer.
