HVAC Project Manager (Project Size: $250K - $1 million) - Reputable Mechanical Company: HVAC (Retrofit & Service, some Controls), Piping, & Sheet Metal

This company is expanding their Non-Union operations team and would like to add a Project Manager who has the ability to Estimate jobs in IE, LA, OC, etc.

ABOUT COMPANY:

• Reputable Mechanical Company: HVAC (Retrofit & Service, some Controls), Piping, & Sheet Metal
• Owner-Direct and a lot of Retrofit / Design-Build
• Reputable Field Team: signatory with Local 250 (HVAC Union) and Local 105 (Sheet Metal Union)
• 55+ employees and does between $15-20 million
• Strong Service Division – started in the Service with HVAC and went into Sheetmetal

POSITION:                       

• HVAC Project Manager – (Project Size - $250K to $1 Million)
  • HVAC Mechanical Retrofit
  • PLUS (not required) – Piping Experience

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Project Manager / Estimate his or her own HVAC Retrofit jobs that range from $250K to $1 Million.
• Work alongside the Piping Superintendent and Sheet Metal Superintendent
• Should be knowledge in Chillers, Cooling Towers, Air Handler replacement, etc.
• Financial forecasting and project budgeting
• Manage subcontractors
• Involved in submittal packages
• Ability to estimate and reach out to contractors for equipment pricing
• Will receive Admin staff for support
• Perform close-out
• About 80% of the time checking on projects / less projects more estimating and are running
• About 20% work from office or from home
