- Clientele:
- 70% - Military/Government Work
- 30% Private Work: School Districts, Healthcare, Private High-Rises, etc
- Merit-Based Shop and currently has a large back-log of project work
POSITION:
- Project Manager - HVAC Mechanical/Sheet Metal/Piping
- Projects range from $600,000 to $15 Million
- To start will manage 3 projects
- **would also hire an HVAC PM who has knowledge of Sheet Metal or Piping.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to project manager from cradle-to-grave
- Project Visits (20% of the time) / Office (80% of the time)
- Visit customer-sites about once a week to check on project status/deliverables
- Track milestone and create documentation from the office
- Manage various subcontractors
- Identify opportunities for and create Change Orders
- Handles RFIs and submittals with support of the Engineering team
- Participate in estimating with support of the Estimating department
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal team members
- **the company does not need this person to do scheduling.
- PLUS – experience with ProCore (PM software) in addition to MS Office experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 5-10+ years of experience
- Considering either an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer who is ready to become a Project Manager
- Looking for the right person: culture-fit is very important to the team morale
- Relevant experience within these industries: HVAC, Sheet Metal, Piping, Plumbing, Controls, etc
- PLUS – any work experience on Military or Federal Construction
