PV/Solar Project Engineer/Coordinator - Large Energy/Mechanical - Irvine, CA

The company has $40+ million in backlog of large commercial solar projects and is making an effort to expand the PV/Solar team.

This position has remote-flexibility if someone needs it, and the projects are predominantly in Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire.

POSITION:

• Solar Project Engineer/Coordinator – Large Commercial Projects
  • REMOTE-Flexibility

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in project management/development and schedule tracking 
• Assist with communication between internal and external resources
• Assist in securing permits and delivering plans when requested
• Track key project milestones and provide weekly reports 
• Document Control management and Contract Compliance
• Monitor project schedules, costs related to various jobs, quotes from supplies, etc.
• Support the process of retrieving RFIs, sending out Submittals, and information from subcontractors
• Coordinate administrative project activities
• Labor compliance management of subcontractors or various field crew. 
• Compliance coordination with finance firms, various states, counties, municipalities, ad various public authorities
• Reports to Director of Engineering & Construction
